Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What sets Alternative Staffing above the other staffing solutions companies?

A: Service is a key factor of the Staffing Industry, and ASI will do whatever it takes to keep our customers happy. Most other agencies will merely take your order and send people out the door. We, on the other hand, believe that the first step in managing your staffing solutions is to listen and make sure that we have full understanding of your staffing needs, requirements and the specific skills necessary to finish your assignment.

Our professional sales consultants will work with you closely on a day to day basis to make sure you are satisfied with our services. If, for whatever reason, you are not happy with the people that we dispatch to your location, merely call us up within the first two hours of the work day and they will be replaced at no charge to you for the hours worked.

Q: What is temporary staffing?

A: Temporary staffing allows employers to fluctuate their workforce on an as-needed basis. As your needs change due to fluctuations in your business and production forecasts, temporary staffing allows you the flexibility to call us on a daily, weekly, or more permanent basis to hire up to 500 people at once.

Q: What is temp to hire?

A: Through this method of temporary staffing, our customers hire our workers on a temporary basis and have the option to hire those employees on a full-time basis at the end of a pre-determined time period. This allows our clients to see exactly how the employee works and to determine if he or she would be an asset to their permanent work force. Temp to hire time frames are typically 90 days. If our customer and our employees feel that their relationship is a good fit on both sides, our employee needs merely to sign off with us and go to their new employer with our blessings. There is nothing better for our company than to satisfy our employees and customers with the wonderful opportunity for them to find a permanent fit together.

Q: What is an on-site manager and what are their responsibilities?

A: Simply put, on-site managers (OSMs) will control all aspects of our work force, at your location. The OSM will be responsible for checking in the workers at the beginning of the shift, managing their workflow and overseeing their production, and signing them out at the end of their shift. With an OSM you will have one point of contact for the entire group of workers, thus allowing our customers to be free of related responsibilities. From interviewing to E-Verify compliance our OSM's fulfill a vast array of HR services.
